Inspired by our Winter Fields collection, textile artist Emma Shepherd created two unique handwoven bags to compliment our winter range, Natural + Purple.

Handwoven in her Morning Peninsula Studio on her Jack Loom from New Zealand, Emma has used beautiful textured linen sourced from one of Europe's oldest mills in Lithuania to create these two unique designs.

Each bag is approximately 38cm x 80cm and handwash is recommended.

About Emma

Emma Shepherd is a weaver based on the Mornington Peninsula, who graduated with a BA in Textile Design from RMIT in 2018. She travelled in 2019 to intern with Esther Van Schuylenbergh (Belgium) and Rachel Snack (USA), as well as undertaking a month-long art residency in Iceland.

Emma creates process-driven pieces, looking to natural materials to guide her work. Each piece is imbued with care, holding the mark of the maker, and made to be treasured. You can follow Emma's work via her Instagram HERE and check out more of her work online HERE
